What Makes Ted Knowledgeable

Ted began his investing career in 1994. Prior to joining Berman | Cresset, Ted was Investment Director at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Inc. where he was a senior member of a three-person team managing the hospital’s $4.8 billion endowment. At Children’s, he was Portfolio Manager for a $1 billion hedge fund portfolio, was responsible for global equity manager due diligence and selection and was involved in portfolio asset allocation decisions. Prior to joining Children’s in 2015, Ted spent six years as Senior Portfolio Manager at Barlow Partners Inc., a New York based, institutionally-focused, long/short fund of funds which managed $2 billion at its peak. From 2000-2009, Ted was founder and CIO of Global Strategies Investment Management, a fund of hedge funds focusing on absolute return strategies. Ted graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University in 1987.

Getting to Know Ted

Ted has spent his investing career alternating between Atlanta and New York City. In 2015, Ted moved back to Atlanta where he lives with his wife and three children.
